We've all heard mobile is the next big thing, but how do you do it?
Do you build a native application? This gets expensive once you learn a new platform and possibly write the same app multiple times for different devices.
Do you build a mobile website? This is the least expensive, works on the most devices, but can't integrate with native phone functionality.
Or do you go with a framework like PhoneGap? This works on most devices, gives you native integration, but never feels the same as a native app.
At this months meeting, we'll have local mobile veterans: Nick Parker and Torey Maerz discussing the pros and cons of each approach. Need a mobile direction, not sure how to do it, come to this meeting and get started. Time: 2/7/2012 6:00Pizza Sponsor: Aviva
